First Harmonica Peformance at Japan
Last friday night is ABK’s 新入生歓迎会(Welcome party for New Intake Student). 2 days before it, one of the organizer asked one of the malaysian student who can either sing/perform using instrument and so I introduced myself to them ^^.

Thanks Danielle for editing the photo above. ^^
That night, I performed 2 song. First song is “colour of the wind” from Pocahontas from Disney. (Yes, second perform with this song, 1st time is in mun pheng’s band roadside performance at 初九[One of chinese festival day]. This time is the second time)

Thanks Danielle again for editing the above picture for me. ^^
When performing the first song, some of the student waved their hand together with the flowing of the music.^^ happy.
Then Performed second piece “William Tell”. ^^ As expected the respond is extremely great! Everyone know this song so the atmosphere become really HIGH.

Left side is Matsumoto which is the emcee that night, Right hand side is ABK’s headmaster.
I didn’t tell my friends who comes with me together for study until the last second that the emcee introduced me to the audience. Most of them get shocked. LOL.
Throughout that night, I think almost every new student in ABK recognized me. Some organizer even booked me for another event in July. Hehe. Please looking forward to it. ^^

The prizes for Bingo game. I got the Chinese Fan located at below. ^^ Actually I wanted that Green Doll at upside…But been taken by other lucky player….
I still haven’t get the video recording from other student so can’t upload it for you all to view. Will try to update when got the video.
That night’s party is great. Got free foods to eat and Beer to drink(if you pay the 150 Yen for it). Even though the foods are great, I have almost ate nothing due to I ate a Mc Pork before it.(I scare I will be too hungry.)

They even labeled it Halal for our Malaysian friends.

Foods!!
That night was really fun and wish there are more event like this for me to perform. ^^ Any suggestion song to perform next?

Dinner with Teacher
Last saturday we have dinner with Annie and Teng-san at 蕨駅(warabi station). We meet up at around 7.30 and decided to eat at Jonathan’s.
Spent about 1200 Yen for the Set meat and Rice + Soup. Annie teacher and Teng-san will leave japan at sunday morning so we decided to eat last dinner together with them.

The dinner there considered good but it was really expensive…
* Got complained by Mun Pheng that I posted too much food’s post..hehe. Will try to write out my Disneyland’s trip when I’m free. ^^

Fried Rice at Japan
Today, It’s not fried rice from the restaurant but it’s my self cooked fried rice. ^^
Decided to try out fried rice from friend’s suggestion. So cooked my first meal that used Fire in Japan(The post I shown early on are all with rice cooker and microwave only.) Here is the Final Product:

Delicious.
Well, to be frankly, It really tasted good and we have sausage and eggs in it. So it’s delicious and with good nutrients. This is the second time I cooked a fried rice. Been learned from mother once at Malaysia.
My friend asked me to cook the fried rice again for tomorrow’s dinner. But well, Ok…It’s inexpensive and is really easy ^^ can save up lots of money~~

Umbrella Vending Machine?

Guess what is this?? Yeap, The Legendary Umbrella Vending Machine!!!
Swt… This is the first time I seeing such machine in my life. Japan is really fantastic, they can even vending Umbrella with machine…
Found this machine at 蕨駅 (Warabi-Eki) few days ago and think it’s good to show you all strange things in Japan. They put this machine at Train station so you don’t have to worry even if the weather suddenly turn bad.

You can buy an umbrella with 450 Yen through this vending machine.
Weather forecast in Japan is almost accurate. If you saw everyone is bringing an umbrella with them, then you should hurry up buy/go back your house taking your umbrella with you. Why do I said so is because It’s almost sure that it will be rain that day since everyone can check on the weather forecast through the net, Train station, and news.

The foldaway type’s umbrella cost 1000 yen.

And the detailed instruction on how to using the vending machine.(all in Japanese though…)
In Malaysia, we get to know tomorrow’s weather by the weather forecast. On the other hand, We get to know tomorrow’s weather together with temperature of EVERY HOUR in Japan. They are really doing a good job on providing those infos.

You can see that it will rain tomorrow around 12.00 p.m. so I did better get my umbrella ready.
*Been put on First Class at my Japanese course so getting quite stress. I never been a top student before so suddenly being one is quite uncomfortable. Will work hard to keep my rank at first class. (Felt tired sometimes though.)
